Bahrain – Ladies and Gentlemen, Ferrari is back! The Red of Maranello is back competitive with the ability to excite the fans of the prancing horse, but also all fans of Formula One.
Pole, Fast Lap and Victory for Charles Leclerc who deservedly wins the first F1 Grand Prix of the 2022 season. Behind him, the other Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz is on the second step of the podium. Third is Lewis Hamilton in the Mercedes who managed to get on the podium thanks to the double retirement Red Bull Racing.
Disappointing start for Red Bull Racing. A colossal flop. The championship is long, it has only started now, so the mechanics and engineers of the Toro have time to review what went wrong.
This year it seems that Ferrari has returned to being competitive and that it has no rivals to compete with the red from Maranello. But that’s just the beginning. We’ll see!
The Top 10. Big smiles, applause and backstabbing Haas too. After really hard days, the team started the season with the fifth place conquered by Kevin Magnussen. The Dane managed to get behind Valtteri Bottas’s Alfa Romeo after a past race with a knife between his teeth. The Hinwil-based team is also celebrating with Guanuy Zhou scoring a point in his debut race. Double placing in points also for Alpine, with Ocon seventh and Alonso ninth. Yuki Tsunoda managed to fit in between the two: the Japanese started in the rear but managed to take advantage of all the opportunities that presented themselves and crossed the finish line eighth.
